Peter Gothar
He was born in Pecs. He was assistant director for TV and entered the High theater and cinema school. He started a carreer in Hungarian TV, making single films, documentaries and films for kids. In 1979, he directed his first feature film, awarded in Venice. Le temps suspendu was shown at The Directors’ Fortnight and awarded in Tokyo. He is head of Kaspovar theater company; he directed many plays of Kleist, Pinter, Shakespeare, Brecht, Dürrenmatt and Gogol.
