Ghasem Ebrahimian
He was born in Iran. He went to the USA to study cinema and graduated at the New York Univerity: he directed and edited a 50 min fictional movie, Willie, which won best drama award, was shown in many festivals and amrican and european TV channels. He founded the production company Ebra Films with Collen Higgins; they directed together more than 25 short documentary films for the RAI. He recently shot a short film for kids: Night of The Elephants. He worked on photography of Le Deuxième sexe ( Simone de Beauvoir ) and L’Ile heureuse ( Marguerite Yourcenar. His first full length film, The Suitors, adapted from a screenplay, was supported by the American Film Institute.
