Since its creation, the Directors' Fortnight has constantly sought and reinvented a dialogue between the film world and the world at large.
Since 1969, it has revealed and supported the new waves of each era, and accompanied, with passion and rigor, the most visionary aesthetic and political developments in contemporary cinema. The 54th Directors' Fortnight's ambition is to once again be part of this unique history of revelations, discoveries and audacity.
