Sandra Kogut

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Sandra Kogut has lived and worked in France and the United States. She began working in the visual arts, with installations and performance art. Her work lies at the frontier between documentary and fiction and has been shown at the MoMA and the Guggenheim Museum, among others. Her films have won prizes in international festivals. Mutum is her first fiction feature.
