Robert Lepage

He was born in Québec and studied drama; he performed for first time in 1982. He earky worked as a director for theater. His first success, in 1985, was Vinci he wrote, directed and performed; he also staged it. Denys Arcand gave him his first main role in cinema, directed by Patricia Rozema and Alain Chartrand. Robert Lepage is considered like the most talented directors in modern theater. Le Confessionnal was his first film.
