Robert Beavers

Robert Beavers left high school, the Deerfield Academy, and went to New York where he was mentored by Gregory Markopoulos, with whom he lived for almost 30 years in Europe, traveling in Europe and living in Europe until Markopoulos’s death. He made his fist films between the time he was 18-21 years old, imprinting on the tradition of the American avant-garde film.
