P.J. Hogan

He wrote screenplays for TV such as Lift-Off, a famous program for kids. He wrote and directed a TV drama, The Umpty Dumpty Man, and directed a part of the serie The Seven Deadly Sins, for ABC TV channel. He was director of the second team on Jocelyn Moorhouse’s film, Proof, shown at The Directors’ Fortnight in 1991. Muriel’s Wedding is his first feature film.
