Olivier Masset-Depasse

Right from his first shorts, Chambre froide (2000) and Dans l’ombre (2004), Olivier Masset-Depasse has filmed headstrong female characters who will stop of nothing to get what they want. With these two films, the director won some 60 prizes in international festivals. Cages (2006), his first feature, which dramatizes a destructive love affair, was seen at the Rome and Toronto festivals and enjoyed a commercial success in Belgium.
