M. Ben Mahmoud

Born in Tunisia in 1947. Graduated with a degree in journalism, archeology and history of art in Brussels University. After studying directing in INSAS, he directed various short films and participated in the writing of two movies ( « Kafr Kacem » by Borhane Allaoui and « Le Fils d’Amr est mort » by Jean-Jacques Andrien. In 1982 he directed his first film « Traversée » and won many awards. »Chichkhan is his second film, co-directed by Fadhel Jaïbi and he prepared « Sophie and Soufiya ».
