Lynne Stopkewich
She grew up in Montreal suburbs. She started making films when she was 13 and she graduated at Concordia University: The Flipped Wig and The $3 Wash & Set were awarded in New York and San Francisco. She entered the Bristish Columbia University to study cinema. She met John Pozer who produced her film The Grocer’s wife: it was shown at La Semaine de la critique in Cannes in 1992. She made a short poetical film in video: Soul Tone Poem.
