Kiyoshi Kurosawa
He was born in Kobe and studied cinema at the University of Rikkyo. He directed short films as a student. He was an assistant to Shinji Somai. He directed his first feature film in 1983. He got a support of the Sundance Institute to write Charisma. In 1997, his film Cure participated in many international festivals, like his film Licence to live in 1998. He is a teacher at the Tokyo cinema school.
