Juan Carlos Cremata Malberti
Juan Carlos Cremeta Malberti was born in 1961 and began his career by writing and acting in children’s programs for the Cuban Institute for Radio and Television, from 1981 to 1987. A drama school graduate, he worked as assistant director on the Ecuadorian film, La Tigra, in 1989. In 1995-95, he taught film editing and directing in Buenos Aires. He received a John Simon Guggenheim grant in 1996 thanks to his short Oscros rinocerontes enjaulados. Nada + is his first film.
