José Laplaine
Born in Zaire, he studied business management in Roma when he discovered drama by playing in an amateur theater. He decided to become an actor, studied with Jack Garfein at the Actor’s Studio and acted in cinema and TV. He started writing screenplays and was an assistant director. He directed his first feature film Macadam Tribu. He directed a short film Le Clandestin. He was recently preparing a feature film, Ocean Queen.
