José Álvaro Morais

José Álvaro Morais was born in Coimbra, Portugal in 1945. After medical school at the University of Lisbon, he enrolled at the INSAS film school in Brussels in 1969 to study filmmaking with André Delvaux, Ghislain Cloquet and Michel Fano. He returned to Portugal in 1974.
