Jin-ho Hur

An award winning Korean director, Hur’s critically acclaimed debut feature Christmas in August won five international awards including Best Film and Best New Director at the Blue Dragon Awards (Korean Oscars) and was invited to be part of the Cannes Film Festival. His second film One Fine Spring Day received the Artistic Contributions Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival and at the Pusan Film Festival. And April Snow was selected for the Toronto International Film Festival and San Sebastian International Film Festival. With his most recent film, the critically acclaimed Happiness, Hur Jin-ho won Best Director at the Blue Dragon Awards.
