Gérard Vergez
He was born in France and first work fo theater; he became a director at the Avignon festival, at the Comédie-Française and the TNP; he played Euripide, Pirandello, jULES romains and Jean Giraudoux. His first film, Ballade pour un chien, was a success, as well as Térésa. He then directed La virée superbe; it was censored. He adapted Jean Giono and worked for TV.
