Anne-Claire Poirier

She was born in Quebec. She studied Law and theater; she was also interested in cinema. She became one of the most famous cinema director in Quebec. She started working for radio and was an actress, she made interviews at Radio-Canada. She was a script. She entered the National Film Board to wok as an assistant editor and as a director. Afte many short films, she made feature films. She directed a serie, Ent tant que femmes, and worked on feminist themes.
She received many honors like the Jutra-Tribute of La Grande Nuit du Cinéma.
