Alessandro D'Alatri

Born in Roma, he stardted as an actor when he was 8 in a play directed by Luchino Visconti. He continued playing in theater with Giorgio Strehler and also worked for TV. He perfomed in cinema in Le jardin des Finzi Contini, by Vittorio de Sica for example; he worked with Antonio Pietrangeli, Zurlini and Scola. He became one of the most brillant directors in advertising in Italy, awarded so many times in Cannes, Venice, New York and London… His first feature film in 1991, American rosso, was best movie of the year, best first film and best photography.
