Italy, December 1999. A father drives his son to a friend’s birthday party at a remote farmhouse. The child is anxious about talk of the so-called "Y2K bug". But it is the party itself that ends up malfunctioning, when the disturbing details of a family comes to light. A memory from childhood filmed like a giallo.

Francesco Sossai

Francesco Sossai was born in the Italian Dolomites area. He started making short films at an early age. He moved to Rome where he graduated in English and German Literatures. He was then admitted to the DFFB – German Television Film Academy in Berlin. His first feature length film Other Cannibals had its world premiere at PÖFF 2021 where it was awarded Best First Feature. The film subsequently had its Italian premiere at the 39th Torino Film Festival and was screened worldwide.
