Main happiness in life is freedom. The film unfolds the story of the suppression of freedom. But all efforts are in vain, and in the end freedom always triumphs.

Garri Bardine

Born in 1941, Garri Bardine created his first animation after working as a theatre actor and a director at a puppet theatre. After joining Soyuzmulfilm animation film studio in 1975, he made 15 award-winning cartoons. Since 1991 he’s been working at the Stayer animation film studio he founded.
