Indochina, 1945.

A young French soldier, Robert Tassen, survives a brutal massacre in which his brother dies in front of his eyes.

Thirsty for revenge, he sets off alone, on a secret mission to find the assassins. But when he meets Maï, a young Indochinese girl, everything changes.

Guillaume Nicloux

He directed plays and performed at the Théâtre de l’Union and at the Théâtre de Ménilmontant, in Paris. He shot in Venice for television the show of Victoria Chaplin, Le Cirque imaginaire, broadcasted on Channel Four. He made Les Enfants volants shwon in various festivals like Berlin, Toronto and Montreal for example. Faut pas rire du bonheur is his second full length film.
