When Danièle Huillet died in 2006, her collaborator and partner of more than thirty years, Jean-Marie Straub, completed their final project, L’Itinéraire de Jean Bricard (The Itinerary of Jean Bricard, 2008), a beautiful short based on Jean-Yves Petiteau’s nonfiction book on a French resistance fighter.
