Girlfight
Girlfight tells the story of a hot-headed teenage girl living in a New York project, whose disaffection with the lifestyles and attitudes of her peers drives her to the take up boxing. Now with something to prove to herself, her friends and her family, she embarks on a brutal training regime and becomes the gym’s first female champion. Fuelled by ambition and finally able to channel her frustrations and anger, it is only when she falls in love with a young man whose boxing career is taking off that she realizes what is most important.
