From the director of Bastard out of Carolina and produced by acclaimed filmmaker Jim Sheridan, a charming story about a woman who gives herself a second chance at life and love. Set in Dublin in 1967, Agnes Browne is a funny story of feisty young widow, who, with her seven children, manages to overcome life’s adversities and even find a little humor in the most difficult of circumstances.

She grew up in Ireland and started as an actress when she was 15 in A walk with Love and Death.She won best actress Oscar in a second part for Prizzi’s Honor, directed by her father. Some of her plays: The Crossing Guard ( Sean Penn ), The Grifters ( Stephen Frears ), The Addams Family and Adams Family Values ( Barry Sonnenfeld ), Gardens of Stones ( Francis Ford Coppola ). She also was on stage. She lives in Los Angeles.
