Michel Khleifi
He was born in Nazareth where he lived until 1970. He went to Brussels to graduate at INSAS. He studied direction in theater, radio and TV. He had a training period on Baudoin des mines of Michel Jakar, produced by Belgian TV in 1977; then he directed reports for a TV magazine. He directed a drama for radio. His first feature film was La Mémoire fertile. In 1987, he made Noce en Galilée, shown at The Directors’ Fortnight. He directed two more full length films.
