Manuel Gutierrez Aragon

He was born near Santander and studied philosophy and direction. He worked on various Spanish productions as a screenwriter. In 1973, he made his first full length film and won the critic prize in Berlin. His second feature film was awarded in Berlin as well, for best direction.
