Jaco Van Dormael
After studying filmmaking at the INSAS (Brussels) and at Louis-Lumière (Paris), Jaco Van Dormael began his career as a children’s theatre director. He got into film directing in the early 80’s with short films, many of which have won several awards at various festivals. In 1991 he made his first feature film, Toto the Hero, which won the Caméra d’Or at Cannes.
