Ferid Boughedir
Born in Tunis, he was Alin Robbe-Grillet and Fernando Arrabal’s assistant. For many years, he became well kown, as one of the most famous African and Arabic film critics. His articles and works about African and arabic cinema history lead her to direct two documentaries: Camré d’Afrique and Caméra Arabe were shown in 1983 and 1987 at the Cannes Film Festival and are now considered as reference. Halfaouine is her first fictional feature film.
